Today I am sharing a recipe from Courtney at "Bake.Eat.Repeat." Take the time to go by and visit her site. She is so young and enthusiastic about cooking that after reading her recipes I want to walk directly to my kitchen, pull out my Kitchen Aid and start cooking. Although I found many delightful recipes, I decided to create her Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn, as my daughter is having a party Friday night and this treat would be a perfect snack. I made it ahead and stored it in these mason jars, which will keep it fresh for a few days and provide the perfect individual serving size. This popcorn is such a rich and tasty treat that it will become a regular Friday-night-sleep-over snack. My kids loved it! Next, I will try her Homemade Oatmeal Cream Pies.
Crazy Good White Chocolate Popcorn
8 oz. white chocolate
2 Tablespoons butter
1 bag microwave popcorn, natural flavor
1 bag pretzel M&Ms
Pop popcorn according to package instructions. Place the white chocolate and butter in a microwave safe dish. Microwave until melted and smooth (about 2 minutes), stirring every 30 seconds. In a large bowl combine popped popcorn with white chocolate mixture. Add bag of M&Ms and stir to combine. Enjoy!
