Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

This recipe simply makes a divine brownie and it doesn't require any unique ingredients.  This means that at the last minute you can decide to have brownies for dessert...which can be a cursing or a blessing.  You'll have to decide about that.  This is not an original recipe and you can view it online here, at Allrecipes.

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

1 cup butter, melted
3 cups white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Melt the butter in a medium size bowl.  Add sugar, eggs and vanilla to melted butter.  In another bowl combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt.  Mix into liquid egg mixture.  Stir in chips and if you'd like a cup of your favorite nuts.  Pour into greased 9"x13" pan and bake in a 350F oven for 40-45 minutes.  The center should be firm and the entire brownie should be slightly puffed and have a crusty top.
