I found this recipe months ago and I've wanted to try it. When hams went on sale last week, I decided it was time to get out the slow cooker and see if we liked it. The best part? You only need to remember three ingredients to make it.
I made my Dill Pickle Sandwich Buns to serve it on. We at them at the beach this week and this will become a regular item on our menu. Yum!
Sloppy Ham Sandwiches
1 bone in ham
1 lb brown sugar
8 oz jar yellow mustard
Place ham in slow cooker and cover with water. Cook until meat falls off of the bone. Shred meat and remove fat. Mix shredded meat with sugar and mustard. Serve warm or cold on rolls.
