Stuffed French Toast
10 slices french bread
4 oz cream cheese
6 tablespoons strawberry preserves
powdered sugar, to sprinkle on cooked toast
Soften cream cheese slightly by placing in microwave for 30 seconds. Spread 2 tablespoons of cream cheese on one slice of bread. Top with 1 tablespoon of preserves. Cover sandwich with 2nd slice of bread. Soak both sides of “sandwich” in beaten eggs. Fry on medium heat skillet until both sides are cooked. Dust with powdered sugar.
