Raisin Bran Muffins

This is a recipe that my mother in law gave me twenty years ago.  It makes a huge huge monstrous batch.  I refrigerate it and scoop out only as many muffins as I want to cook for breakfast.  I have never recorded how many muffins I have made from this recipe but I will do it this time and update then.  Not only are they tasty but they are full of fiber.  I have used half whole wheat flour and it works quite nicely.

15 oz raisin bran cereal
5c flour
3c sugar
5 teaspoons soda
2 teaspoons salt
4 beaten eggs
1 qt buttermilk
1c of vegetable oil

Mix all ingredients.  (Does it get any easier than that?)
Spray muffin pan and bake at 375F for 15-20 minutes.
